BottegaChilometriZero was founded in 2006 in Pove del Grappa, a small town in Veneto located just 5 km from Bassano del Grappa (VI).
Since its foundation, it has established itself as the beating heart of a “zero kilometer” supply chain, with the aim of combining a global aesthetic with a local and highly controlled production process.
Thanks to a network of local partnerships, BottegaChilometriZero is able to manage all the stages of production necessary to create its collections, keeping the entire production cycle within a radius of 150 km from its headquarters.
From the design of the garments, carried out in our in-house studio, to the final finishing details, every step reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and the promotion of local craftsmanship.

A natural philosophy of life and business

Why relocate production elsewhere when we have the best textile manufacturing at our fingertips?
This reflection gave rise to the cornerstone principle of our corporate identity: promoting the local area and supporting local businesses through a short supply chain, based on partnerships with excellent suppliers and highly experienced professionals.
A production model that not only guarantees quality and control, but also strengthens the link with the artisanal roots of our tradition.
One of the fundamental pillars of our philosophy is “slow is fast.”
Slow, because every stage of the production process, from the design of the garments in our studio to the finishing of the product, takes place within a radius of 150 km, following principles of sustainability aimed at reducing environmental impact and preserving local resources.
Fast, because our garments, in addition to standing out for the high quality of their materials and workmanship, are characterized by a unique and immediately recognizable aesthetic, capable of leaving a distinctive mark.

the 7 production steps

Design – 0km – POVE DEL GRAPPA (VI)
Research and creativity are the first artistic steps that must be combined with strong technical know-how for the construction of the garment.

Weaving – 36km – THIENE (VI)
The fabrics are made with the finest yarns and the most advanced techniques. A Bottega branded product maintains the same qualifying properties after each wash.

Cutting – 27km – SANTA GIUSTINA (PD)
Precision and automation. The welding of the mattress fabric allows to cut a large number of pieces at the same time.

Printing – 29Km – CARTIGLIANO (VI)
This can be done on the cut end or on the packaged end, depending on the desired effect.

Packaging – 100km – VILLANOVA DEL GHEBBO (RO)
This consists of assembling the cut pieces using different types of stitching in order to obtain the finished garment.

Finishing – 30km – SARCEDO (VI)
The “finish” includes all the processes necessary to give the fabric certain tactile qualities. Particular attention is paid to the use of water to avoid any waste.

Ironing – 24km – CAERANO SAN MARCO (TV)
The final stage of the production process involves applying labels and tags, ironing, folding, and packaging.

Do the right thing: sustainable processes and raw materials

Our commitment to the environment translates into concrete choices: from the use of sustainable raw materials to low-impact production processes.
Since 2006, we at BottegaChilometriZero have been proudly pursuing this journey of research and innovation.
Being a sustainable company is not just a long-term goal, but a principle that guides our every decision on a daily basis. For us, sustainability is a concrete value, rooted in our corporate culture and shared by everyone who is part of our project. It is an ongoing commitment to help create a positive impact on the environment, people, and the community.
Through every label and logo on our garments, we tell a story of care, research, and responsibility. Let’s discover it together.

recycled fabrics

In our collections, we use recycled fabrics, extraordinary materials that are the result of an innovative and sustainable production process. A perfect balance between new cotton and regenerated cotton, obtained from worn-out garments that, instead of becoming waste, are first shredded into scraps and then transformed into high-quality textile fibers. The result? Unique fabrics that tell a new story of sustainability and resource enhancement.

eco dyeing / special dyeing

We use the most advanced washing and finishing techniques, designed to reduce environmental impact and optimize resources. Thanks to these innovative processes, we are able to save up to 35% of water compared to traditional methods. In addition, the processing cycles are shorter and take place at low temperatures, thus ensuring reduced energy consumption without compromising product quality.

eco buttons

We can say with certainty that our buttons are unique. Made from biodegradable materials such as UREA, corn husks, potato powder, and plant additives, they represent a sustainable and innovative alternative. We like to call them eco-bottoni, another small detail that reflects our commitment to a greener future.
